The vectorial strategy is specialised in trend changes. This strategy fits DAX with a swing trading, with a reduced (but realistic!) drawdown and low time on market.
Solid over time and with reduced license costs.
Since May 2020 we applied different filters and security controls, and after two years of tests and variations, we simply verified that entries continue being good, and “opened” more hidden or filtered trades, that in fact were working so well.
–> V4.1 review the V4 on May’24 with trailing stop modifications and reducing the number of operations
–> V4 restores a version developed on Feb’23 after a great Out Of Sample period.
– The V4 suposes a complete revision and reoptimization of the vectorial strategy used in ZEUS and also ARES / ARESLR, also making this version LONG-ONLY
– Returning to use just ARES as a name, not ARESLR (at origin, there was an ARES and an ARES Low Risk (the LR mean that)
– Comparing the LO of V3.X and this V4, now the behaviour on bearish markets and the profit was enhanced

Strategy type: Vectorial (specialized in trend changes)
Input signals: Calculates the angle between moving averages to locate trend changes. Filters are applied to improve the inputs, as well as other mechanisms.
Stop Loss: Always. Maximum of 1.8%
Profit handling: Trailing Stop by blocks based on ATR and exit with profits in case of a strong trend change. Maximum target profit configured (dynamic).
General comments: Strategy specialised in trend changes. You have a good ratio of winning positions, but your goal is the highest possible win/loss ratio.
Don’t be fooled: Results are shown for 1 contract at € 1 per point. Only 1 position at a time. Without martingales or partial closures (MM available, but not shown in results). Different configurations are available, and visible and non-obfuscated code. Visible headers in ProRealTime screenshots are shown here, distinguishing between backtest, real and demo in each case (avoid screens without headers and quick photoshops ????). Available versioning and results full information in our website and groups, with full tracking.
Extras: Delivered to be used out-of-the-box, but configurable for experienced users. Money Management and Drawdown control modules are available.
